‘judiciary Has Final Word In Cases’

10 January 2022 Crime News

Once again, the Kuwaiti judiciary has consolidated the foundations of justice and affirmed that it has the final word in any case, reports Al-Rai daily. After more than a year of marathon investigations, the Public Prosecution recently decided to save all communications submitted by the Financial Investigation Unit against a number of social media celebrities facing money laundering charges.

With the decision of the prosecution, the suspension of funds and accounts of social media celebrities who were previously charged with violating the Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Law was lifted. The prosecution’s decision confirms that there is no documented evidence about the accusations; which were repeatedly affirmed by the daily that suspicions or accusations do not mean conviction at all, and that “the accused is innocent until proven guilty.” Therefore, the prosecution’s decision confirms the innocence of all the involved celebrities.
