An official source in the Municipality told the daily the aim of campaign will initially focus on amending the existing conditions of these institutes, with gradual measures, leading to administrative closure. The sources added that initially no commercial license is issued under the name ‘Massage Parlor’. The sources revealed there were subsequent requests addressed to the Ministry of Commerce to stop the renewal of commercial licenses for these institutes, specifying the type of activity in the case of renewal, and the Ministry of Health to re-examine the employment of the service and their eligibility to practice the profession. The source stressed that the Municipality in cooperation with other government agencies will seek to close all parlors which work in violation of the law and will work hard to rectify the situation, with an emphasis on the dismantling of all rooms.
