Jan 6 Hearing In ‘daughter’s Kill’

The Criminal Court scheduled a session for Jan 6, 2022 to deliberate on the ‘daughter’s murder case’, reports Al-Seyassah daily. This came after the Public Prosecution referred the case to the court, following receipt of the forensic report and completion of its file. The defendant, who kept her daughter’s body in the bathroom of the apartment in which she lives, has been charged with premeditated murder and covering up a crime.

Case files indicate that a male citizen, in his 20s, filed a report at Salmiya Police Station, stating he had a dispute with his mother because the latter allegedly killed his sister in 2016 and kept the body of the victim in their apartment in Salmiya. The securitymen searched the apartment, leading to the discovery of the decomposing body in the bathroom. The citizen’s mother and brother were arrested, while the body was referred to the Forensic Medicine Department in order to determine the time and cause of death.
