Italian Arrested For Failing To Pay Finance

Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an unidentified Italian who was wanted by law in connection with two financial claims and had been sentenced in absentia, reports Al-Anba daily. Police investigations revealed the 62-year-old Italian was holed up inside an apartment in Salmiya. Acting on a tip-off police then raided the apartment and arrested the man and handed him over to the Sentences Enforcement Department. According to a security source, the Italian was wanted for failing to pay KD 10,000 to one party and KD 57,000 to another
