Isolation Mahboula & Jleeb Shyoukh Saved Kuwait From Disaster
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Assistant Public Health Affairs Dr. Buthaina Al-Mudhaf attributed the high rate of infections of coronavirus in the country was due to accumulation of workers in accommodation and work places which prevented them to keep social distancing.
Al-Mudhaf told after the epidemiological investigation it became very clear that the two hot spots in Kuwait were Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Mahboula where large the infection had spread due to lack of social distancing, which ultimately led to implement total ban in these two areas.
Al-Mudhaf emphasized that easing of restriction in these places depends on the extent of control on the virus and the commitment of all to the guidelines laid by ministry of health, the rates of death by the epidemic in Kuwait is few globally, where in some countries is very high.
Regarding contracting with hotels in the recent period, Al-Mudhaf said that this aimed to accommodate returning citizens from abroad within the evacuation plan, where as marginal workers in crowded residential areas have been accommodated in quarantine areas and infected have been transferred to field hospitals which can accommodate more than 10,000 infected from corona virus.
She stated that it is necessary to adhere to health instructions and must adapt to social distancing as many countries have controlled the epidemic by doing so.
