Iraqi Kuwaiti Officials Discuss Various Mutual Concern Issues
Iraqi and Kuwaiti officials held talks in the Iraqi capital on Tuesday on a number files of common interest.
The Kuwaiti side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah. Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Nizar Khairullah headed the Iraqi delegation. The discussions are addressing a number of files of mutual concern and means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. Agenda of the meeting includes preparations for the seventh session of the supreme ministerial committee, due in Kuwait soon.
The Kuwaiti delegation includes the Ambassador to Iraq Salem Al-Zamanan, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Deputy Foreign Minister’s Office Ambassador Ayham Al-Omar, Assistant Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs Ghanim Al-Ghanim and Deputy Assistant of the Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs Salem Al-Shebli.
It also included the Minister Advisor Mohammad Al-Humoud, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Arab Department Ismail Shafiq and Representative of the Ministry of Transport Marine Captain Karim Jabbar. Al-Jarallah and his delegation arrived in the Iraqi capital earlier on Tuesday, starting an official mission in the neighboring country. In an earlier statement, Al-Jarallah said the mission is line with joint keenness on keeping channels of communications “open and active.”
