Inquiry Into Kuwaiti Who Converted To Judaism

Kuwaiti Authorities have launched an investigation into claims that a citizen has converted to Judaism.

The Foreign Ministry is coordinating with state agencies and Kuwaiti embassies to investigate the claims.

The Kuwaiti citizen appeared in video recording to announce that he had converted to Judaism, adding that he had learned the Hebrew language and integrated into the Israeli society. 

If the claims are confirmed, the Interior Ministry would revoke the passport from the Kuwaiti citizen, said Alqabas.

Laws of the state of Kuwait prohibit its citizens from entering Israeli territories.
