Initiation Of Legal Action Against Concert Organizers

Saad Al-Azmi, the Ministry of Information's Assistant Undersecretary for the Press, Publishing, and Publications Sector, declared that the Ministry has taken the required steps in response to the concert performed last Friday evening.

According to Al-Azmi, the sector's staff supervising the event demanded that the organizers follow the requirements of the license given, but the organizers’ response was not up to par. As a result of the ceremony's violation of the license's restrictions, the Ministry halted it.

The ministry stated that it would take all legal measures in this regard, that the company organizing the concert had been granted a license in accordance with the rules and regulations established by Ministerial Resolution No. 32 of 2016 and that the company had signed a pledge to follow those rules.
