Indian Embassy Publishes Updated Travel Advisory For Stranded Indians

In response to several queries from Indian nationals stranded in India, wishing to return to Kuwait, the Indian embassy published a circular clarifying the queries of those Indian expats seeking a status update of their registrations on the official portal of the Ministry of Health.

The Embassy informs all Indian nationals that all issues related to the return of stranded Indian nationals have been taken up with the concerned authorities of the State of Kuwait. The Embassy is following up on all these issues and there is a continuous dialogue with the concerned authorities.

The following information has been conveyed by the concerned authorities of Kuwait:

The validation process of all the vaccination details and certificates uploaded by expatriates, including Indian nationals, is currently underway.

All applicants whose registrations have been rejected will receive formal communication from concerned authorities in the State of Kuwait through email, with reasons of rejection.

All applicants whose applications are found to contain errors will also receive formal communication through email, explaining the errors in their respective applications.

All those applicants who have not received any communication from the concerned authorities of Kuwait, informing them of either rejection or errors in their respective applications, are advised to continue to wait for the processing to be completed.

The Embassy would also be taking up with the concerned authorities of the State of Kuwait, cases of Indian nationals who are facing specific exigencies and thereby need their registrations to be processed on an urgent basis.

For further examination of such specific requests and necessary assistance, the following procedure will be followed in Embassy:

Such Indian nationals may send a letter to the Embassy, justifying the urgency/special exigency, by email, to info.kuwait@mea.gov.in.  An endorsement of the same should be issued by the sponsor/employer of the Indian national concerned.

The applicant should indicate his full name and all other personal particulars in the communication to the Embassy.

Copies of the following documents need to be forwarded as an attachment to the aforementioned letter addressed to the Embassy:

Passport;

Civil ID;

Employment Contract (if available);

Proof/Screenshot of completed registration on the portal of Ministry of Health, Kuwait;

Proof/Screenshot of completed registration on all other platforms and applications of State of Kuwait, including Immune/Kuwait Mobile ID, Shlonik, and Kuwait Mosafer;

Final Vaccination Certificate.

Please note that emails received with incomplete/ inaccurate information or missing documentary proof cannot be processed.

All the aforementioned information needs to be sent only to the email address info.kuwait@mea.gov.in, and not repeated to other email addresses of the Embassy. All other queries on this subject may also be sent only to the same email ID.
