Indian Ambassador Meets With Kma Board Members And Idf
Honorable Ambassador of India to Kuwait H.E, Sibi George met with the Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) President Dr Ahmad Al Enizi and other KMA Board members at KMA in the presence of past Presidents and present IDF officials.
Dr Ahmad Thuaini Al Enizi welcomed the Honorable Ambassador to Kuwait and praised the Indian Community for the excellent services rendered in building Kuwait. He also spoke highly about the wonderful contribution by the Indian doctors in developing the health sector in Kuwait. KMA is proud to have IDF as one of its subsidiaries and fully supports the various social, educational and community welfare activities done by IDF. The positive role played by IDF during Covid 19 pandemic was highly appreciated and acknowledged by KMA.
H.E The Ambassador praised the Late Amir of Kuwait as a Humanitarian Leader and thanked the Kuwait Government for taking care of the large Indian Community in Kuwait. He congratulated the New Amir and wished him all success. He thanked the KMA president for extending the much-needed support to Indian doctors and IDF in particular for all its activities. His Excellency spoke about the long-standing positive relationship between India and Kuwait and looked forward to further enhancing and strengthening this bond.
KMA president briefed about the new Health Bill, which was recently passed in the Parliament and said that the much needed verification process will be eased out at the earliest.
Dr Ali Al Musawi, Vice-President of KMA, expressed his keen interest in raising the possibility of training Kuwaity doctors in the best of the institutes in India and also to consider India as a destination for availing specialized treatment. In response, the Honorable Ambassador reciprocated positively and showed his eagerness to go a step further on these recommendations.
Dr Amir Ahmed, President of IDF thanked the Honorable Ambassador of India and Honorable President of KMA for their support, advice and guidance to the various activities of the forum. He announced the upcoming IDF Health Guide on Covid -19 and requested Kuwaiti doctors to contribute few articles in the health guide.
