The Umrah pilgrimage can be undertaken at any time of the year in the holiest city for Muslims, Makkah. It consists of carrying out rites in Masjid Al Haram.
Fans have been waiting a long time to see one of India's most popular actors perform Umrah. He was just a few hours away from Makkah when his followers from all over the world suggested he perform Umrah, after Khan posted a video on social media about the wrap-up of 'Dunki'.
Fans were delighted to see the charismatic actor keep his word and go on a pilgrimage.
