In Makkah, Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Performed Umrah

Shah Rukh Khan, who recently finished filming for his latest movie 'Dunki' in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, took time off from his busy schedule to perform Umrah in Makkah.

The Umrah pilgrimage can be undertaken at any time of the year in the holiest city for Muslims, Makkah. It consists of carrying out rites in Masjid Al Haram.

Fans have been waiting a long time to see one of India's most popular actors perform Umrah. He was just a few hours away from Makkah when his followers from all over the world suggested he perform Umrah, after Khan posted a video on social media about the wrap-up of 'Dunki'.

Fans were delighted to see the charismatic actor keep his word and go on a pilgrimage.

I am so happy to see that you performed Umrah. It was a heartfelt wish that you will do it… may Allah accept all your duas and ibadah… Ameen. Feeling very emotional,” wrote a fan who shared a video of the star in Makkah on social media.

A Twitter video clip shows Shah Rukh Khan wearing a white shawl and a Covid-19 mask surrounded by officials while fans take photos of him.

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted performing Umrah in Makkah and Medina! May allah bless you,"rote another fan.

Also, Khan is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming film, Pathaan, co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
