In Kuwait, Amir Congratulates Citizens And Expats On National Days

In a message to citizens and expats on both Kuwait's 61st National Day and 31st Liberation Day, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated everyone.

The Amir expressed appreciation and delight with the atmosphere for these two momentsous occasions, and with the participation of the local people in the celebrations and festivals that took place on these dates across the country.

Kuwait's beloved homeland and Kuwaiti family was honored on these celebrations, as His Highness the Amir said love and unity are the embodiment of loyalty and allegiance.

In addition, he commended the official bodies, ministries and NGOs for their efforts and participation in these celebrations.

Amid his remarks, he recalled the founding fathers and the role played by the late Amir, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Hassan Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, here referring to the Iraqi invasion in 1990.

In addition, His Highness the Amir recalled previous leaders' exploits for the country and citizens that will endure forever.

Further, His Highness the Amir prayed for the souls of the martyrs who lost their lives for the sake of the dear homeland and remembered them with pride as he prayed for Allah to let their souls find mercy.

Kuwait's Amir also expressed gratitude to the GCC and other Arab leaders for joining in Kuwait's national celebrations.

A prayer was offered to Allah for the protection and prosperity of his homeland.
