Hunting And Equestrian Club Holds 21st Horse Race Tourney

Under the sponsorship of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Club “Bait Al-Arab” (Arabian Horse Center) and Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Company, the Hunting and Equestrian Club held its 21st horse racing tournament, which witnessed a huge turnout of fans along with the official representatives of the sponsors.

Various stables participated in different categories of the horse races.

The horse Yadhoq from Da’iya Stable won the first round of 1,000-meter race for Class 2 horses, followed by Al-Kul Naif from Nimsha Stable in second place, and Al-Ghayer from Al-Mutairi Stable in third.

The 1,400-meter race for Class 1 horses was won by Ashras from Da’iya Stable. In a similar race for pure-bred Arabian horses, Zahi from Nasser Al-Haifi Stable came first. The horse Laheeq from Fanar Stable came first in the 1,600-meter race.

In the 1,800-meter race, Yakeef from Safar Stable came first. The 1,200-meter race for local pure bred horses was won by Fares Al-Bodour from Sultan Al-Mutairi Stable. In another 1,400-meter race, Taraq from Nimsha Stable emerged the winner.

Trophies were awarded to the winning teams Abdulrahman Al-Thuwaini representing Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Company with Tareq Al-Nesf representing Bait Al-Arab.
