Hike Seen In Number Of Oil Sector Kuwaitis Working Under Contract

The number of Kuwaiti employees registered under contracts of contractors working in the oil sector has reached 4,842 in the 2018/2019 fiscal year compared to 3,632 employees in the 2014/2015 fiscal year, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources.

They affirmed that KPC and its subsidiaries have carried out several initiatives to increase opportunities for Kuwaiti employees under the contracts of oil-sector contractors.

They indicated that several meetings have been held between the CEO of KPC Hashim Al-Hashim and officers from the Human Resources departments to find an adequate mechanism for implementing a new system that will meet all the requirements.
