His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has strongly denounced the missile attacks on Saudi Arabia.
This hostile act violates all international norms, values and principles, His Highness the Amir said in cable sent to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Sunday evening. His Highness the Amir reaffirmed Kuwait’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and support to all measures it takes to maintain its security. He prayed to Almighty God to protect the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people against all evils.
;He also wished Saudi people everlasting security, safety and prosperity under the wise leadership of King Salman For his part, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to Saudi KingA Salman bin Abdulaziz.
In his cable, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf reiterated Kuwait’s strong condemnation of the ballistic missiles attacks against the Saudi Kingdom. He prayed to Almighty God to safeguard the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people against all evils. His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al- Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable to the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The strikes come after the US defence secretary last week urged Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his visit to Washington to pursue “urgent efforts” to end Yemen’s wrenching conflict. The Houthi rebels have fired dozens of missiles into Saudi Arabia since last year, all of which Saudi forces claim to have intercepted, underscoring their capacity to strike deep within the kingdom amid a stalemated war in Yemen.
