Health Protocols Not Followed By 70% Employees

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry's health requirements team conducted a large-scale inspection tour of the Commercial Market in downtown Kuwait City, focusing on the fabric market and tailor shops, to ensure and check that market employees follow health protocols and cabinet instructions related to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Faisal Al-Ansari, the team leader and director of the technical department for supervising commodities, told Al-Qabas on the sidelines of the tour that judicial police inspectors discovered 70% of the employees in the Commercial Block market shops did not comply with the standards.

The police have issued warnings and forced store owners to sign pledges of obedience to government orders, including vows to wear masks and maintain social distance.
