Head Of The Roads Authority: A Railway Project Linking Saudi Arabia To Kuwait

The head of the Roads and Land Transport Authority, Dr. Hussein Al-Khayyat, said that the Council of Ministers assigned the railway authority project to the Public Authority for Roads, noting that the Gulf route for the project will be from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Shaddiyah area in Kuwait, where the distance is estimated at 115 kilometers.

Al-Khayyat added that a team was formed to receive the project, where a plan was drawn up that will be implemented over a period of 4 and a half years, by removing obstacles, preparing a consultancy study and designs, and then offering the project to contracting for a period of two and a half years.
