Hatem Al-awadhi Will Be Acting Ceo Of Kipic
CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Hashim Al-Hashim has issued a decision to assign the responsibilities of CEO of Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) to the Deputy CEO of Al-Zour Refinery Hatem Al-Awadhi in addition to his duties, reports Al-Nahar daily. This decision came into force since Jan 6.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Awadhi had earlier resigned before returning after Hashim Al-Hashim took over the position of CEO of KPC in place of the former CEO Nizar Al-Adsani.
In another development,The Safety Department at the Kuwait Municipality branch in Mubarak Al-Kabeer inspected a number of companies throughout the governorate, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The inspection campaign is aimed at ensuring the companies’ strict compliance with regulations on outdoor storage, resulting in the issuance of three citations for various violations warranting fines estimated at KD 74,305.
Director of the department Maissa’a Bu Shehri disclosed the citations were issued against three companies found to be using State land measuring 18,475 square meters without permission and expired license for outdoor storage.
She affirmed the violations were recorded according to Municipal Council decision number 148/11/84. She said the department issues warnings to violating companies and gives them a grace period to remove the violations in order to help them avoid paying fines.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Department at the Municipality urged citizens and expatriates to call hotline 139 or log on to the Municipality’s social media accounts if they have complaints, affirming that the relevant procedures will be taken immediately.
