H.h Amir Thanks Trump For Hospitality, Returns Home

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, accompanied by Deputy President of the National Guard Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the official delegation accompanying him, returned to Kuwait on Tuesday from the United States of America, during which he held official talks with the US President Donald Trump, in Washington.

His Highness the Amir was greeted by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness President of the National Guard Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al- Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Speaker of the National Assembly Isa Ahmed Al-Kandari and senior state officials.

His Highness the Amir was also accompanied by Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahd, Amiri Diwan Advisor Mohammed Abdullah Abu-Al-Hassan, Head of the Protocol at the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Khalid Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah Al-Naser Al-Sabah and Head of Media and Cultural Affairs at the Amiri Diwan, Yousuf Hamad Al-Roumi.

His Highness the Amir sent a cable to the US President, thanking him for his hospitality during His Highness’ official visit to Washington.

His Highness also expressed his joy over his meeting with President Trump, where they discussed issues of mutual concern and bilateral ties. His Highness Sheikh Sabah noted he was pleased with the positive results of the Washington visit to create further cooperation between the two sides. He also underscored the strong and historic Kuwaiti-US relations, adding that both countries will cooperate in achieving and protecting international peace and security.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir affirmed the importance of the meetings held between Kuwaiti private sector representatives with their American counterparts to boost economic, investment and trade cooperation between the two sides. His Highness invited President Trump to visit Kuwait in the future, wishing him a long healthy life and further development for his country.
