Gulf Games Are Postponed To Monday In Kuwait

Following the death of UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan on Friday, Kuwait Olympic Committee Chairman Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah stated the Third Gulf Games will be postponed for three days.
The committee's chairman stated in a press release that the decision was made to express condolences to the UAE people and leadership over Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed's death, remembering him as a wise leader who dedicated his life to helping his country and people, as well as Arab and Muslim concerns.
As a result, the Gulf Games will begin on Monday. Football, handball, karate, judo, and other sports will be included in 16 tournaments staged in 12 sites for both male and female competitors.
