The Civil Commercial Circuit of the Court of First Instance obligated a gold company to pay KD 1,655,000 to General Customs Department as tax for the gold exported by the company from a GCC country.

The lawsuit was filed by Director General of General Customs Department against the company because the latter did not provide a certificate of origin issued by the importing country.
