Gcd Has Issued Instructions To Ban Shrimp Fishing Until Sept 1

General Customs Department (GCD) has issued instructions to ban shrimp fishing in the Kuwaiti territorial waters until Sept 1, 2017, reports Al-Shahed daily.

Based on these instructions, the department will allow import of fresh or frozen shrimps via air and land ports with the permission of Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) and in accordance with the applicable conditions and regulations. The department stressed the need for all fishing ships and boats to abide by these instructions and obtain necessary permit from PAAAFR.
