‘gay Societies A Conspiracy’

02 August 2019 Kuwait

In response to an earlier report which talked about the determination of 30 Kuwaitis to form an association of gays in the name of ‘freedom’ in Kuwait and some basics which marketed globally in a systematic manner to make inroads in Kuwait, some favor the idea who believe in the ‘rights and freedoms’ while others are of the opinion that the Arab and Islamic countries in general and the conservative societies in particular look the other way calling it a scheme which is imposed in the world gradually through many international accords in the name of freedom citing legal grounds, reports Al-Rai daily.

Between these and those the consistent truth remains that homosexuality was removed from the list of diseases and mental disorders in 1973, according to the American Psychiatric Association.

Homosexuality was one of the most serious crimes socially unacceptable in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries, but this view has changed decades ago, especially after the World War II, with the emergence of a number of human rights homosexual groups in the West, particularly in France, Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia and the United States.

These groups emerged in the late 1940s in Holland and Denmark, in the 1950s and 1960s in Sweden, Norway, the US, France, Britain and elsewhere but their plans to merge and impose homosexuals in societies failed and largely were successful in the mid-2015, with the recognition of gay marriage by 18 nations mostly from the Americas and Western Europe.

It seems that there are some who consider that this experience should be transferred to other countries and societies, especially the conservative through popular TV serials, movies and renowned television networks by allowing social media to make choices other than male and female which supports homosexuals, to the extent of trying to impose it through official visits to the Gulf and Arab countries and talk about the outdated theories, including that which reject homosexual behavior considering it a backward and thorny issue which they say must be seen more rationally, and that the goal is social equality for gay people.

Taken this conspiracy into consideration Kuwait and its Gulf, Arab and Islamic sister nations, is not immune to these attempts. This is confirmed by the fact that some people have filed a request to advertise a gay association in Kuwait in 2007 and intend to do the same next month.

The representative of the said association says homosexuals are no different from others, and they have rights that must be preserved. In the context what he described as the rights of homosexuals, he called for legislative amendments to stop the criminalization of homosexuality but was unable to respond to the religious side that sets the basis for dealing with homosexuals.

On the other hand, a number of clerics and preachers in Kuwait have stressed that there is a global plan to corrupt conservative societies, not just Muslim societies, stressing that the role of the state and reformers is to confront this corruption and to combat any negative phenomenon which in the name of freedom of opinion corrupt societies and spread vice.

Sources stressed the state shoulders a great burden when it comes to protecting the morals of the society while the preachers demand that the state must confront all who attempt to promote destructive ideas, first and foremost the prohibition of social networking sites that open the way for such people to poison the society.
