Gasoline Prices Expected To Be Increased

Reducing gasoline subsidies and food ration beneficiaries will be discussed by the cabinet today, Al Rai reported.

Informed sources told Al Rai that some recommendations of the Ministerial Economic Committee related to support are being discussed on the Cabinet’s agenda and the most prominent points that will be discussed was to reduce the percentage of subsidies directed to gasoline by 5 fils per liter, in addition to reducing the number of beneficiaries of the ration card, so that the beneficiaries are the head of the family and his family, in addition to two servants and a driver only.
