Full Operation Of Kuwait Airport Expected To Begin From November 1st

Even though the Kuwait International Airport will open up without the operating quota from today as part of the Cabinet’s decision regarding the return of life to normal, the full operation of the flights to new destinations are expected to start from the winter schedule of flights, which is from November 1st, reports indicated.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation is ready to start operating the airport in full, as two meetings were held Thursday and Friday with service providers and operators in the airport buildings, and they were assigned to increase the numbers of passengers, Personnel handling, services and cleaning to keep pace with the increase in passenger traffic.

However, the sources stated that Civil Aviation has drawn up an integrated plan to operate the airport in full as of next month, in order to prevent congestion in passports, baggage weight and delivery areas, or in the waiting halls. Sources indicated that there will be 15 minutes gap between Each plane to allow sufficient time to check the Corona examination and review the vaccination certificates on the “Immunity” or “My Identity” application.

Sources also said that the airport's operating movement during the current week will be unchanged, and the DGCA is waiting for the receipt of the monthly operating schedules from the airlines operating at the airport as of November 1st. The November scheduled is expected to increase the number of flights and new destinations.
