Four Hurt In Shooting In Umm Al-haiwan

A Kuwaiti entered the diwaniya of a relative in Umm Al-Haiwan where he went on a shooting spree, causing injuries to four people including a child who got minor wounds. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Unit at the Interior Ministry received information on the shooting incident. The relatives of the Kuwaiti tried their best to control him and they managed to take the pistol from his hand although he resisted. The injured were referred to Adan Hospital where the fight amongst the relatives started once again and the Kuwaiti who fired a gun earlier was injured so he was taken to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital to prevent another brawl. A case was registered and preliminary investigations revealed those involved in the fight had previous disputes.
