Forger Nabbed

Securitymen from the Criminal Investigation Department arrested a Syrian man involved in the forgery of traveler’s checks worth about a quarter million Kuwaiti dinars and tried to distribute them in the local market, reports Al-Shahed daily. A security source said confidential information reached Director General of the department Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh about the illegal activity of the Syrian who traveled to Canada. The suspect was put under surveillance upon arrival and was arrested in the act of offering commission to a secret agent.
