The National Assembly approved a project to amend some provisions of the Health Precautions Law to prevent communicable diseases during its extraordinary session, including the application of the law against violators of the health protocol and a fine of 50 dinars for violators, as well as granting Ministry of Health employees the right to arrest violators.

According to Al-Jarida, the National Assembly also approved parliamentary recommendations for easing the Corona restrictions for those who have not been vaccinated, which were submitted to the parliament for consideration after the current session's discussion of government measures to combat the virus.

"I spoke to him about these proposals, and he assured me to take them into consideration," Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said, adding that the Minister of Health apologized for not attending the session because he had an angioplasty.

The most prominent recommendations are to lift immediate restrictions on non-vaccinated children, allow travel to countries that receive unvaccinated people, consider the second dose sufficient to consider the person fully immunized, and not differentiate between vaccinated children and others, as well as not requiring a PCR test for citizens arriving in Kuwait and being satisfied with measures taken upon arrival, so as not to be a reason to detain them in the country for long periods of time.
