Five Women Held With Drugs
Hawalli securitymen apprehended four sisters and a lady from an unnamed Gulf country in possession of illicit pills known in the local market as ‘Larika’. A security source said the officers were on a round of the aforementioned area when they spotted the vehicle of the suspects moving in an erratic manner and ordered the driver to stop for checking. They found the illicit substance on them. All five ladies have since been referred to concerned authorities. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen and a GCC national were arrested in possession of illicit drugs by Jahra securitymen who found them sleeping in a car at Jahra Industrial Area. They were referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.
