Five Groups That Are Excluded From Institutional Quarantine

A responsible source at Kuwait International Airport revealed to Al-Qabas about the plan of requirements and requirements for the five groups excluded from institutional quarantine, and they are:

Kuwaiti patients on scholarships for treatment abroad, Kuwaiti students studying abroad, minors under the age of 18 who are traveling unaccompanied, members of the diplomatic corps, and medical staff.

Provided that they are subject to home quarantine for a period of 14 days, provided that they are registered on the "Kuwait Traveler" platform and the requirements are submitted to the "counter" of airlines in the countries of take off.

The source said that the conditions and requirements for these groups, which Al-Qabas uniquely publish, will be as follows:

1- The diplomatic staff is required to show the identity card of the airlines in the countries of departure before coming to Kuwait.

2- Kuwaiti patients seeking treatment abroad are required to present a certificate proving that they have received treatment, issued by the health office of the country's embassies abroad.

3- Kuwaiti students studying abroad are required to bring a certificate proving that they are students issued by the cultural office of the country's embassies abroad.

4- Medical personnel are required to present the identity card of the airline companies in the countries of departure before arrival.

5- Minors who are under 18 years old and unaccompanied travelers are required to apply for special service issued by airlines, which are limited and restricted cases
