Firefighters Trying To Put Out Fire At Oil Driller In Northern Kuwait

Oil Company (KOC) said on Wednesday that its fire-fighting teams are "exerting ongoing efforts" to put out the fire at the crude oil driller in northern Kuwait.
The KOC official spokesman, Saad Rashed Al-Azmi, said in a statement that roads leading to northern regions and oil fields "are safe," and that reading of emitted gas "is assuring and the thick gas is caused by

putting out the blaze." On Tuesday, the Environmental Public Authority (EPA) said that the gases caused by the fire contained no hazardous elements.
EPA also said that it had been monitoring the situation since the fire eruption at 9 p.m. Monday.
