Firefighters extinguished a fire that engulfed a pharmacy shop opposite the Jewelry Market at Mubarakiya. The incident led to a massive material loss without any record of human casualty, says Al-Seyassah. A security source said officers at the Operations Room dispatched rescue officers, paramedics and firefighters to the scene immediately after receiving a distress call concerning the incident. They contained the flames in a commendable operation without it spreading to neighboring structures. Preliminary investigation revealed that the fire was due to a short circuit
