Fire Service Directorate Urged Real Estate Companies To Abide By The Rules And Regulations

Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) urged the owners of all real estates to abide by the rules and regulations of KFSD for ensuring the safety of the people, and to cooperate with the inspection teams for public benefit.

In a press release, Deputy Director General of Prevention Sector Major General Khaled Abdullah Fahad stressed the need for ensuring availability of fire safety equipment in all buildings as it will reduce the effects of any fire incidents.

He warned against using stairways for storage purposes or any obstructions near the emergency exits or the doors to the rooftops as they are necessary for ensuring safety when fire incidents occur.
