Fire-fighters from Kuwait City and Al-Hilali stations succeeded in extinguishing a fire that engulfed a store covering 40 square/meters dimension at a building in Al-Mubarakiya. No casualties were recorded. Neither did the fire spread beyond the store. Rescue officers at the Operations Room signaled to the fire stations immediately after receiving a call concerning the incident. The fire-fighters, led by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmad Al-Mejadi, arrived at the scene on time and started the operation in earnest. They evacuated occupants of the building before putting out the fire.
