Fire Dept. Extinguishes An Apartment Fire In Salmiya

Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in an apartment building yesterday evening, Al Rai reported.

A report was received at the Fire Operations Center stating that a fire had broken out in an apartment in a residential building in the Salmiya.

The Salmiya Fire Center responded immediately and the Al-Badaa Extinguishing Center was directed toward the place of the incident. Upon the arrival of the firefighting teams, it was found that the third floor of a nine-story residential building was on fire.

Source told the daily that immediately two combat and rescue teams were formed, and the firefighting teams evacuated the residents and extinguished the fire.
