Fine For Airlines For Carrying Passenger Without Following Necessary Procedure

Carrying a non-Kuwaiti passenger without following all approved procedures may result in a penalty for the airlines, local Arabic daily Al-Qabas reported quoting DGCA sources. According to the newspaper, the fine will be up to 500 Dinar for each passenger, and in the event of a repeated violation, the penalty may increase.

According to the new travel procedure, expatriates must upload their vaccine certificate on the MoH portal and receive approval. In addition, the Immune app also should have a green color. However, after the new travel procedure is implemented, Kuwait airport returned a few passengers for not following this procedure.

DGCA called on all arrivals to upload the vaccination certificate on the Ministry of Health website and approve it before making travel arrangements. They also must have the PCR examination 72 hours before coming to the country. 

The majority of flights arrived in the country is from Turkey, Dubai, Riyadh and Doha.
