Financial Guarantee Of Kd 40,000 For Domestic Recruitment Bureaus

The official spokesperson and Director of Public Relations at the Public Authority for Manpower Aseel Al-Mizyad affirmed that a letter from one local bank stipulates financial guarantee as condition for the issuance and renewal of license for the recruitment of domestic workers.

In a statement, Al-Mizyad mentioned that the ministerial decision no. 2302/2016 concerning the terms and conditions of implementing law no. 68/2015 stipulates financial guarantee of KD 40,000 for the recruitment bureaus and KD 100 for companies.

She explained the imposition of financial guarantee on the license applicant is aimed at protecting the employer and the domestic worker in case the recruitment bureau or the company infringes laws concerning the recruitment of domestic workers in Kuwait or failure to fulfill the contract signed in this regard.
