Final Warning To Private Schools For Prefabricated Classrooms - Ministry

Undersecretary of Education Dr Haitham Al-Athari has issued the final warning to private schools through a recent circular directing all proprietors to demolish prefabricated classrooms before the commencement of academic year 2016/2017, indicating failure to abide by instructions will result in serious consequences.

According to local daily report, the ministry will coordinate with Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) and Kuwait Municipality to demolish prefabricated classrooms and similar administrative and academic facilities to build permanent concrete structures.

He revealed that necessary steps will be taken in that regard after the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa had approved the recommendations of the concerned ad-hoc committee.
