Filipina Domestic Helper Attempts Suicide

A Filipina domestic helper, who is believed to be in her 30s, has been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital with fractures and internal bleeding, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added the condition of the Filipina is critical.

According to security sources, the woman jumped from the second floor of a domestic labor office in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh in a bid to end her life. Preliminary investigations show the housemaid was working for one of the families and was returned to the office and efforts were underway to send to her to another employer.

It is said she took advantage that no one was around and jumped from the second fl oor. According to the office owner, the victim had shown no intention to return to her country
