Fees For Electronic Payments Are Banned By The Central Bank
In Kuwait, the Central Bank of Kuwait issued a circular prohibiting companies and service providers from charging customers fees for electronic payments.
According to the circular, electronic payment practitioners cannot collect any fees or commissions from end customers, who are customers. All such service providers were also instructed to update their contractual agreements to reflect the changes.
