Farwaniya Municipality Warned Owners That They Should Not Allow Their Workers To Sleep Inside Shops
The Emergency Team of Farwaniya Municipality launched a field inspection campaign with security support from Ministry of Interior on cafés in Ardiya Industrial Area, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality explained that the campaign was in line with other inspection campaigns launched by the department to ensure validity of food items, which are being sold in various cooperative societies, eateries and food shops, for human consumption.
;The inspection campaign, which was led by Khaled Al-Radha’an continued for three hours and resulted in discovery of 11 violating cafés and issuance of nine citations. The violations included non-compliance with technical regulations set by Kuwait Municipality and exploitation of some shops for accommodation purposes.
Al-Radha’an affirmed continuation of such inspection campaigns both during and after official working hours in order for the owners of these shops to implement the set regulations. He also affirmed that legal measures will be taken against violators, warning owners that they should not allow their workers to sleep inside the shops.
