Explosives Found Near The Seventh Ring Road

The bomb disposal experts have detonated explosives which were found off the Seventh Ring Road and Salmi, reports Al Anba daily.

The explosives are believed to be remnants of ordnance planted by the retreating Iraqi forces after the defeat in the Liberation war in February 1991 and reportedly surfaced following the rains which are found in many parts of Kuwait.

The explosives included a landmine and two shells (found in Salmi)
