Jleeb Suspect Is In Custody For Taking Money From Expats As Protection

An unknown police impersonator was caught by the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police for robbing ex-pats in broad daylight. Because of their nature, the suspect allegedly targeted expatriates, and the majority of them allegedly work for people other than their sponsors.

According to a local Arabic daily citing security sources, the suspect had established a special empire in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh with some accomplices who used to bully the workers and seek 'protection money from them until an unidentified Kuwaiti learned that the suspects were taking money from expatriates, particularly Syrians and Indians, and filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department, and the main culprit was immediately arrested.

Surprisingly, this person was always spotted without their knowledge following personnel of official joint campaigns consisting of personnel from the Kuwait Municipality and the Ministry of Interior, as evidenced by CCTV cameras put in the area's shops. The suspect is currently being questioned.
