Expat Engineers Cannot Renew Their Work Permits Without Noc From The Kuwait Society

The agreement that has been signed by the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) and the Kuwait Engineers Society (KES), says expatriate engineers cannot renew their work permits without the no objection certificate (NOC) from the Kuwait Society of Engineers quoting a reliable PAM source.

The source said the NOC certificates are given to all engineers after they pass the competence test regardless of the date of entry into the country and years of work experience.

The source said the technical procedure is part of the regulatory procedures adopted by PAM in the organization of technical professions.

The source pointed out the efficiency test was adopted for many technical professions, in addition to KES and Lawyers and Medical societies.

The sources say this method will be applied on all the specialized activities this year
