Expat Arrested For Stealing Sand In Kuwait

According to Kuwaiti media, Kuwaiti authorities arrested an expat suspected of illegally uploading sand with others.

After appearing with other accomplices in a video uploading the sand in the Al Wafra area, Al Ahmadi police and local officials in that governorate apprehended the suspect. The suspect is an African national. According to the ministry, police are looking for others to initiate legal action against them.

The incident has been reported as a misdemeanor sand theft.

An official from the ministry thanked a Kuwaiti who informed police about the incident, saying that he fulfilled the principle that "every citizen is a watchman" to expose unlawful behavior.
