Entry From August 1st Only For Expats With Valid Residency

The decision to allow expatriates entry to the country starting from August 1 applies only to the residents who have valid residencies in the country and is not applicable for foreigners who obtain on arrival visa or those who don't have valid residency in the country.

Quoting sources, local media reported that the Corona Emergency Committee did not open issuing of visas for foreigners wishing to visit Kuwait.

The decision issued by the Council of Ministers includes only the entry of residents who have valid residencies, provided that they have obtained two doses of the approved vaccines in Kuwait.

According to sources, the number of residents stranded abroad exceeds 400,000. According to available estimates, only a few of them received two doses of the approved vaccine.
