Emergency Team Formed By Pam To Follow Up Labor-related Issues Has Recorded 1000 Complaints

The emergency team formed by the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) to follow up labor-related issues has recorded 1,000 complaints within a short period, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a reliable source from the authority.

According to the source, the authority has started taking procedures such as liquidation of the bank guarantee and payment of dues to employees.

He said the affected employees must file a complaint at the Labor Relations Department (LRD), and affiliated units in governorates or through the emergency team. He affirmed the authority is working closely with the diplomatic missions and it has requested them to guide their nationals in filing complaints in order to address the employees’ problems.

He pointed out the implementation of the automated system in registering complaints has greatly contributed to ongoing efforts to address the problems of workers.
