Egyptians Without Residency Permits To Leave Kuwait This Week - Ambassador Al-qooni

04 May 2020 Coronavirus

Egyptians violating residency law in the State of Kuwait will be “repatriated” starting this week, Egyptian Ambassador in Kuwait Tareq Al-Qooni said Sunday. The first flights will be for women and children who are kept in special housing units and provided with free meals, Al-Qooni said in a statement to KUNA.

He added that the rest of Egyptians in those housing units would be repatriated after the women and children. Deputy Prime Miniser and Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh signed a resolution on March 30 allowing expatriates violating residency law to leave their country without paying fines nor plane tickets.
