Egyptian Woman Killed By A Stray Bullet

During the night while sleeping on the rooftop of her rural house in Egypt's southern region, a stray bullet struck the woman who died, a local paper reported.

According to the online news portal, Al Youm Al Saba, the 45-year-old woman was killed by a gunshot in Abu Diab in the governorate of Qena, some 455 kilometres south of Cairo.

During the investigation to uncover the circumstances of her death, her body was transferred to the mortuary of a state hospital.
