Egyptian Woman Filed A Complaint Accusing An Unidentified Masked Man For Threatening To Harm Her Minor Daughter

In a strange incident, an Egyptian woman, born in 1989, has filed a complaint with the Farwaniya police accusing an unidentified masked man of breaking into her apartment and threatening to harm her minor daughter, reports Al-Anba daily.

The woman, whose husband has traveled abroad, told the Farwaniya police that she gathered courage and grabbed a knife from the kitchen and threatened to kill the man who spoke in fluent Arabic.

She said she was fast asleep and heard cries from her daughter who was watching television. She hurried out of the bedroom and saw the unknown man holding the daughter placing a knife to her neck and demanded money or gold and jewelry. “I subconsciously went to the kitchen and brought a knife and rushed to the unknown thief to try to stab him and rescue my daughter and the suspect escaped.

The Deputy Attorney-General has ordered to classify the case as attempted robbery by force, and assigned personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department to lift the fingerprints.
